TAIKO was established in Tabuse town, Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan, in April 1956 as the first factory to have taken up proposals to invest in the town to vitalize the local economy. Since then, we have devoted our efforts to developing new, and improving existing technologies to meet the diversified needs of the industry and our customers. Our expertise and unique technological know-how in the pump manufacturing field is the fruit of such endeavors.

We are developing projects focusing on the following themes: ‘from oil to water, water to air, air to vacuum.’ Currently, we are producing a screw dry vacuum pump which is able to treat sealed liquid waste through a process of inverse diffusion in order to solve environmental problems.

This vacuum pump works to preserve the environment in a number of ways. It is used in the manufacturing process of the thin film solar cell for clean energy; it is used in PCB (Polychlorinated biphenyl) waste treatment facilities; and, it is used as a withdrawal device for VOC (Volatile organic compound) gas.

We have many more productions which also help to preserve the environment. These include the following: aeration blower for water treatment, oxidation blower for flue gas desulfurization, one screw pump for transferring slurry and sludge, sewage treatment device and 15ppm bilge separator to prevent marine pollution.

Preserving the environment is our company’s mission. We encourage our workers also to improve their own individual sense of environmental issues and to develop new products that include protecting the environment.
